Here we have a collection of 7 1/4" Romulus parts. Most of what you see here in the photographs was built as part of a pair of Romuluses,.... Romuli,... (?),....The chassis, frames, wheels, axle boxes and valve gear components were one half of that pair. That's all brand new and nicely machined. We previously sold the other one together with a boiler that we had in stock.
Over the years we've rebuilt a couple of Romuluses and we've ended up with numerous spare parts left over from these projects. We've collected all the bits together. There's a cab, hand brake column, ashpan, (originally from the Romulus that became Steam Workshop rebuild No.18 'Bennu'), and various other bits including the old boiler from our Romulus/Darjeeling B class (Steam Workshop rebuild No. 23), which is a good shell, but failed with a weap on the firebox crown. As you can see it all gets you a pretty decent start toward a build.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
